Our Chef,
German Carrizalez

Chef German Carrizalez  attended culinary school at Instituto Culinario de Mexico campus Monterrey.
He has worked in diferrent countries like Spain ( San Sebastian ) , Costa Rica ( Jaco ) , United States (Boston ), and Mexico.

In 2009 he moved to Chihuahua where he started his own restaurant , LOCAL DIEZ , becoming the first restaurant in the city to serve gourmet burguers, afterwards he was invited to the Universidad de Durango Campus Chihuahua were he became dean of the culinary arts program.

In 2015 he founded Smoke Company. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a food truck and then became the first BBQ school in Chihuahua.

In 2019 he was invited to represent Mexico in a dinner gala at the Mexican consulate in Indianapolis Indiana.

Our Mixologist,
Jesús Duarte

Born and raised in Chihuahua, Chihuahua; Jesus has a 12 year trayectory within the bar and restaurant industry. Graphic designer by profession and bartender by choice; Chuii Duarte has positioned himself as one of the top bartenders in the country participating in different national cocktail contests; emerging as a national finalist at the Chivas Masters MX 2018-2019, semifinalist at the World Class MX 2017 and winner of the National Bacardi Legacy MX 2020 contest.

Since, 2016, he has taught several mixology classes at different universities in Chihuahua and is the founding director of the Mixlab Bar Academy, and the Sotol & Gin Acrónimo. Throughout his trayectory he has worked in different states such as San Luis Potosí, CDMX and Aguascalientes. Nowadays he is the national ambassador for several sotol brands in the country and spokesperson at different national cocktail congresses such as Expo ANTAD 2017, Salón Cóctel 2017, México Alimentaria 2017, Comali 2018 y Bar Show Colombia 2018 – 2019.
